Why is it so limited? most of the clothes suck and you can't really make anything wacky or outstanding with them. But what is with the story mode for the other characters? Why is it only limited to a few characters? In past games, every character had a story mode, complete with a prologue and an epilogue, but now we just get a few of them. Now the main story is fine, I don't keep up much with Tekken lore but form what I saw, it's fine. I feel like there should be some changes to how these characters perform their attacks, perhaps make it harder? or more varied? like come on Kunimitsu can initiate a 5 to 6 hit combo for just spamming Triangle for crying out loud, and it ends with enemy faceplanting making them vulnerable to another barrage of unfair attacks.Īnd I haven't even started on Leroy! I read somewhere a dude won a tournament despite only using Leroy for a week. Another thing would be that most of the characters, specifically the newer ones like Negan, Kunimitsu II, Akuma and especially Leroy (and good God so much more) have such braindead, button-mashy movesets that requires no effort to pull off ridiculous combos, and it just feels so unfair because it does not feel earned to be able to do these moves for someone that can't even perform a 10 hit combo like myself. But how the heck did Bandai Namco manage to devolve this thing? First of all, the character roster is fine albeit having some weird guest appearances here like frickin Negan from The Walking Dead.īut the real problem lies within the moveset, I swear the Rage Art is too OP and feels like a cheap way to win against opponents, and I think it should be removed from future games. I love Tekken, I've been with it since Tekken 5, which doesn't sound like much but this game really does have a special place in my heart especially Tekken 6.
